Larry's Looking for Love!

Born in 2004, Larry is a handsome, extremely friendly guy in need of a special home. He suffers from megaesophagus - which means his esophagus has lost the muscle tone needed to push food down to the stomach. He also has a respiratory problem and cannot breath through his nose. He is on daily medication for these two conditions and needs to be on a liquified diet eaten from a raised feeder. Despite his medical problems, Larry is a happy guy who would like nothing better than to curl up with you and be loved. His veterinarian assures us he is not suffering and will be able to lead a long and good life if his condition is managed properly. If you can give this guy the care and happiness he deserves - either by adopting or fostering him - please contact us!

Mittens Needs a Guardian Angel

Mittens wandered into a church rectory and is now looking for a guardian angel. This handsome four year old guy has been diagnosed with feline AIDS. Since the disease can be transmitted to other cats through saliva and blood, we are looking for a home for Mittens where he would be the only cat. Mittens is a black cat with white markings. He's a friendly guy who has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting Mittens - or can foster him - please give us a call!

Feline Adoption Program for Senior Citizens

The Hudson County Animal League has launched a Feline Foster Care and Adoption Program for senior citizens. All applicants will be asked to fill out a short application and have a brief meeting in their home with our adoption coordinator. After this process is complete and your application is approved, one of our fabulous felines will be placed in your home on a trial basis. If things work out between the two of you, you can choose to either adopt the cat for a nominal adoption fee or agree to continue fostering the cat until it finds a forever home. Everyone deserves a loving companion who will give them unconditional love and a new purpose in life. If you know of a senior citizen who would be interested in our program, please call our phone line at 201 200-1008 and leave a message for our program chairperson Lorma Wepner.

Note: Adoption photos and links will open up in a new window at the Petfinder (off site) website.
